I love the work I do! Every day, I have the privilege of supporting people with whatever challenges they're facing.

What is a typical day in your role like?

A typical day in my role as a Wellbeing Link Worker involves providing practical, social and emotional support to people in the Halton community. First and foremost, I listen to patients and understand what's happening in their lives. Together, we work on crafting a tailored plan to address any challenges they might be facing. Whether it's coping with grief, battling loneliness, or needing financial support, together we will make a plan to get back on the right track. I'll be with the person every step of the way, always checking in and reviewing progress.

What do you like best about your role at Wellbeing Enterprises?

I love the work I do! Every day, I have the privilege of supporting people with whatever challenges they're facing. I take pride in my work and embrace the responsibility that comes with this role. I get a huge sense of fulfilment.

How do you look after your own wellbeing?

Self care is very important to me. I like to go to the gym to stay active, plus I play football once a week for some fun exercise. Finding a balance with work and personal life is key. It's important to make time for yourself and self care is critical to this. Practising self care allows me to provide the best possible support to people I work with.

What are your top tips for wellbeing?

Maintaining your wellbeing should always be a priority. Remember to do activities that bring you joy. Whenever possible, give yourself the gift of relaxation by unplugging and unwinding. Maybe you can try to incorporate physical activity into your routine a few times a week, even if it's just a leisurely stroll. Your wellbeing is always worth investing in.

What are your hobbies?

I'm passionate about football and try to watch as many matches as I can. I also love music, it's a great way to relax and lift your mood. Spending quality time with my son, whether it's at the park, playing with his toys, or simply making him happy, brings me happiness. Keeping up with regular exercise is also a key part of my routine, contributing to my overall wellbeing. Also, I'm a bit of an amateur chef, I absolutely love cooking!

Tell us something unique about yourself.

As you can probably tell I love sport and during a holiday in Turkey, I had the honour of winning a water polo tournament!
