Wellbeing Enterprises Sponsors Children Sports Teams in Halton

We are delighted to announce the winners of Wellbeing Enterprises sports kit sponsorship competition. The initiative offered grants of up to £500 each for children’s sports teams in Halton to purchase branded kits. Teams from across the borough applied to be in with a chance of winning and we are honoured to announce that Girls BPR Leiria Belles JFC Under 11’s and Runcorn Linnets Under 11’s as the winning teams who will receive branded sports kits.

Julie Cole from BPR Leiria Belles JFC said:

“When we heard we had won the kit the girls, as was the club were so happy, it was a welcomed surprise. It means we can have the financial pressure of purchasing a kit eased for us especially after Covid when local businesses are struggling with supporting teams/ clubs as they once did. Parents have lost jobs too, so money is never an easy subject. With winter upon us the winter training costs are a big financial burden for the club. So, this kit is certainly a welcome help to the Girls team and our club. Thank you for the work you do in the community.”

Chris Stringer, Runcorn Linnets under 11’s manager stated:

“Runcorn Linnets just want to express what the funding for our new training kit will mean to our squad, it will make a massive difference with all our team looking the same and feeling equal, every team member can wear the same training kit now without the stress of extra worry from parents having to try and fund their own. We can’t wait to see our new training tops with the new logo on the front, and as soon as we receive it we will send you a photo of appreciation!”
