Wellbeing Enterprises Launches New Halton Service For Long Covid

Working in partnership with NHS Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals, Wellbeing Enterprises are delivering a service which aims to revolutionise the care provided to people living with Long Covid in the Halton area.

The service will connect people with community based support that will complement the care provided by clinicians. The aim of the service is to help people to identify and address any needs that may be impacting on health and wellbeing. Moreover, the service will help people to rediscover and reconnect with their strengths and talents to help boost confidence and get the best out of life.

Wellbeing Enterprises will provide holistic community-centred support that will complement world class clinical treatments. People diagnosed with Long Covid will have access to 1-2-1 practical, social and emotional support. In addition, Wellbeing Enterprises also runs an online Long Covid support group, held weekly, hosted by a dedicated wellbeing officer, which offers an informal way of connecting with others to share experiences and support.

Mark Swift, CEO of Wellbeing Enterprises, said: We are delighted to work in partnership with Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals to provide holistic care to those living with Long Covid. Addressing both clinical and social needs has been shown to deliver better outcomes and patient satisfaction.
