Wellbeing Enterprises CIC Shortlisted for Two Prestigious Liverpool City Region Culture and Creativity Awards 2025
Wellbeing Enterprises CIC is delighted to announce its nomination as a finalist in two categories for the prestigious Liverpool City Region Culture and Creativity Awards 2025. Recognised for its impactful and innovative work in health and wellbeing, the organisation is a finalist in both the Health and Wellbeing Award and the Innovation Award.
The Liverpool City Region Culture and Creativity Awards celebrate the transformative power of culture and creativity across the region’s six boroughs. Now in their sixth year, the awards honour individuals, organisations, and projects that make a positive impact on the community.
Health and Wellbeing Award – WE Connect Social Prescribing Provision
The We Connect initiative in partnership with NHS Cheshire and Merseyside (Halton Place) has been recognised for its transformative approach to improving population health and wellbeing. This holistic social prescribing service, integrated with all GP practices in Halton, is supporting thousands of patients every year by addressing the root causes of poor health and helping people overcome practical, social and emotional challenges in creative ways. The We Connect service helps people to help themselves overcome challenges, build capabilities and live a good life.
Innovation Award – Complete Care Community Project
The Complete Care Community project is improving outcomes for children and young people at risk of, or living with conduct (behavioural) problems; one of the most common mental health problems in children and young people. Using a range of creative community engagement methods, Wellbeing Enterprises collaborated with a diverse array of stakeholders to envision a desired future state to address this challenge, learning from lived experiences, identifying opportunities for positive change and co-designing and implementing an action plan for positive change. This project has raised awareness of this pressing public health challenge regionally and nationally, mapped, expanded, and improved access to evidence based interventions locally and built a robust case for prevention and early intervention with new health and social innovations being co-created.
Mark Swift Founder CEO of Wellbeing Enterprises CIC said "’I’m over the moon Wellbeing Enterprises has been shortlisted in two categories at the LCR Culture and Creativity Awards 2025. This is a huge boost for our dedicated and hard-working team.
