Wellbeing Enterprises CIC Marks 20 Years with Community Events in Halton
Over 130 local residents came together in Runcorn and Widnes to celebrate a major milestone - 20 years of Wellbeing Enterprises CIC supporting people to live healthier, happier lives.
The two community wellbeing events, held at Runcorn Cricket Club and Frank Myler Pavilion, were filled with fun and meaningful activities including yoga, mug painting, a ukulele session, tasty food, and raffle prizes. Both events offered a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for people of all ages to spend time together and enjoy something a bit special.
“The sun shone brightly as we came together for a fantastic day of wellbeing activities, delicious food, and heart-warming company,” said Mark Swift, CEO of Wellbeing Enterprises CIC. “It was a true celebration of everything our community stands for - connection, compassion, and care.”
Since launching in 2005, Wellbeing Enterprises has supported over 100,000 people across the Liverpool City Region and beyond with practical, social, and emotional support. From one-to-one wellbeing services to community-led courses, the organisation has spent two decades working alongside people to help them feel more connected, confident, and in control of their wellbeing.
One attendee shared:
“I first came across Wellbeing Enterprises over a decade ago, just after I lost my mum. They helped me through such a hard time, and I’ve been part of the family ever since - joining courses, staying in touch, and always spreading wellbeing top tips. I really enjoyed today. It was lovely to see everyone and feel part of something so special.”
“We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us,” added Mark. “These events were a way to say thank you to the people who’ve shaped our journey - our community. Here’s to the next 20 years!”
