WELLBEING ENTERPRISES CIC AND NHS PARTNERS SHORTLISTED FOR FOUR HSJ PARTNERSHIP AWARDS 2025
Wellbeing Enterprises CIC is delighted to announce that it has been shortlisted for four HSJ Partnership Awards recognising outstanding dedication to improving healthcare and effective collaboration with the NHS.
Now in their eighth year, the HSJ Partnership Awards have become the most recognised and respected mark of the strongest relationships between suppliers and the NHS.
Following a thorough judging process, Wellbeing Enterprises CIC was included in 180+ organisations, projects and individuals that made the final shortlist amid 280+ entries logged for the 2025 awards programme.
Wellbeing Enterprises CIC is shortlisted for the following awards in collaboration with NHS partners:
- Best Not for Profit Working in Partnership with the NHS, for Wellbeing Enterprises CIC’s 20 years of collaboration with NHS partner organisations across Cheshire and Merseyside.
- Most Effective Contribution to Improving Care for Those with Long-Term Conditions in collaboration with Warrington & Halton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for its Long Covid Service.
- Most Impactful Project Addressing Health Inequalities in partnership with R Health Runcorn Primary Care Network for its Complete Care Community Project Improving Outcomes for Children and Young People at Risk of, or Living with Conduct (Behavioural) Challenges.
- Primary and Community Care Project of the Year in partnership with NHS Cheshire and Merseyside (Halton Place) for its We Connect Social Prescribing Provision.

Dr David Lyon, GP and Clinical Lead for the Long Covid Service said: “Wellbeing Enterprises CIC has been the cornerstone of therapy for the Long Covid Service in Halton and Warrington from the very start. Wellbeing Enterprises provides vital psychosocial support to distressed people whose lives have been turned upside down, physically, financially, socially and psychologically. They measure outcomes diligently and are able to demonstrate the positive impact they have. Wellbeing Enterprises help people with Long Covid to manage their condition better, rather than the condition overwhelming them. They have proven themselves to be an integral and essential part of the service.”

The selected winners will be announced during the awards ceremony at Evolution London on 20th March 2025.
The 2025 awards judging panel was once again made up of a diverse range of highly influential and respected figures within the healthcare community, including; May Mengyu Li, Director of Efficiency, NHS England, Janos Suto, Deputy Director, Urgent and Emergency Care Analysis and Performance, DHSC, Amanda Pleavin, Managing Director, East of England Cancer Alliance, Jacqui Bunce, Programme Director – Strategic Partnerships, Planning and Estates, Lincolnshire ICS, Caroline Taylor, Chair, National Association of Primary Care, and Alan Duffell, Group Chief People Officer, The Royal Wolverhampton Trust & Walsall Healthcare Trust.
