Wellbeing Enterprises Achieves Accredited Level of the Liverpool City Region Fair Employment Charter

Wellbeing Enterprises CIC is delighted to announce that it has officially been awarded Accredited status under the Liverpool City Region Fair Employment Charter - recognising the organisation’s long-standing commitment to fair, inclusive, and socially responsible employment.

The Accredited level is the Charter’s core standard for exemplary employment practice. It recognises organisations that champion secure work, fair pay, staff voice, equality and inclusion, high-quality working conditions, and support for wellbeing. Achieving this benchmark places Wellbeing Enterprises amongst a select group of employers across the region leading the way in creating healthier, fairer workplaces.

For nearly two decades, Wellbeing Enterprises has operated as a purpose-driven social enterprise, delivering person-centred services that help communities across the Liverpool City Region to flourish. This accreditation reflects the organisation’s continued commitment to ensuring that the same values of dignity, fairness, and equity that shape its public-facing work are embedded into its internal culture.

Mark Swift, Founder and CEO of Wellbeing Enterprises CIC stated: I’m incredibly proud that Wellbeing Enterprises has been recognised as an Accredited employer under the Liverpool City Region Fair Employment Charter. For us, fair employment isn’t an add-on - it’s a core part of who we are. Our work is driven by a belief that people thrive in environments where they feel valued, supported, and heard, and that applies as much to our colleagues as to the communities we serve. This accreditation reflects the dedication of our entire team, and it reinforces our commitment to building a workplace rooted in fairness, compassion, and opportunity.

This achievement underscores Wellbeing Enterprises’ ongoing efforts to:

  • Provide secure, fairly paid, high-quality employment
  • Champion staff voice, leadership and inclusion
  • Support health, wellbeing, and personal development
  • Create a positive organisational culture based on trust and dignity
  • Promote fairness and equality across all areas of its work

The organisation will continue working closely with partners across the Liverpool City Region to champion fair employment and contribute to a more inclusive, healthier regional economy.
