Early Intervention

Our children and young people services help to meet the growing demand for support for mild to moderate mental health conditions. We offer social wellbeing assessments of need, alongside an exploration of strengths, in order to provide tailored help which navigates a wide range of support available locally. Our services are designed to identify and respond to the personal and structural barriers that prevent children and young people moving forward with their lives. It also offers wraparound educational support and mentorship in order to build personal capabilities, develop problem solving and goal setting skills and the support networks needed to get the best out of life. For those on waiting lists for specialist support, our offer serves as an adjunct to mainstream provision, and in many instances children and young people accessing this help report feeling able to move forward without specialist support thereafter.
