Meet the team: Leah, our Community Wellbeing Officer
Leah is part of the team who provides personal wellbeing support to patients and the public who have practical, social and emotional needs.
To find out more about Leah, her job role and her top tips for wellbeing we asked her a few questions.
What is a typical day in your role like?
On a typical day I carry out one to one appointments with patients, researching and working with the patient to create a plan to improve their wellbeing.
What do you like best about your role at Wellbeing Enterprises?
I love that I am able to support people with all kinds of things from all walks of life. No two days are the same, so it's always interesting.
How do you look after your own wellbeing?
I love animals, they really boost my wellbeing! Spending time with my 2 cats helps me to feel re-charged. I also like going the gym as it helps me to completely switch off.
What are your top tips for wellbeing?
Take 5 minutes for yourself and just do a small thing that makes you happy. It makes such a difference.
What are your hobbies?
I love going on long walks and visiting new places. I'm quite a creative person so enjoy anything to do with fashion, interior design, and art.
Tell us something unique about yourself.
I studied Fashion Styling at University and before Wellbeing I was Manager on a make up counter in a department store. I enjoy being creative, so it was a really good outlet for that.
