Job Title: Parent Champion - Respiratory Health
Salary: £26,750 (pro rata for 20 hours a week, fixed term - 6 months)
Hours: 20 hours per week
Office location: Halton
Responsible to: Business Manager
Closing Date: Midnight Thursday 28th May 2026
Wellbeing Enterprises is recruiting a Parent Champion (Respiratory Health) to support an important community-based initiative improving health and wellbeing across Halton.
This is a practical, people-focused role working with families, parents, carers, and expectant parents to raise awareness of respiratory health, support prevention and early intervention, and build confidence in managing health and wellbeing.
As a Parent Champion, you will take a proactive outreach approach—engaging people in community settings such as children’s centres, clinics, and local venues. You will build trusted relationships, share accessible information, and support families to access the services and support available to them. A key part of the role is helping improve understanding of respiratory conditions, including bronchiolitis, and ensuring people know when and how to seek help.
You will work closely with local partners, including children’s centres, health professionals, and community organisations, playing a vital role in strengthening connections between services and the communities they serve.
We are looking for someone who is approachable, proactive, and passionate about supporting families and communities. You will have experience of working or volunteering with people, strong communication skills, and the ability to build trust and encourage engagement—particularly with those who may face barriers to accessing support.
This is a 20-hour per week, fixed-term role (6 months) based in Halton, with flexibility required to meet the needs of the community.
At Wellbeing Enterprises, we are driven by People Power, Positive Places, and Productive Partnerships. If you share these values and want to be part of meaningful, community-led change, we encourage you to apply.
