Help Shape the Liverpool City Region Imaginarium

Applications Now Open to Join the Founding Circle

People from across the Liverpool City Region are being invited to help shape a new people-powered initiative designed to create more space for imagination, participation and community-led change.

Applications are now open to join the Liverpool City Region Imaginarium Founding Circle - a diverse group of people who will help guide the direction and development of the initiative from the very beginning.

The Liverpool City Region Imaginarium is a new initiative bringing together local people, communities, creatives and organisations to explore bold ideas and turn imagination into action.

Part grassroots think-and-do tank and part creative civic movement, the Imaginarium will create opportunities for people to share ideas, tackle local challenges and shape practical solutions for the future of the region.

Through activities including Dream Roadshows, Imagination Labs, Civic Fellowships and community-led projects, people will have opportunities to develop ideas, test new approaches and work alongside others to create positive change in their communities.

People do not need formal qualifications or previous governance experience to apply. Participation is voluntary and designed to be flexible, meaningful and supportive.

Mark Swift, Founder CEO of Wellbeing Enterprises CIC, said:

“The Imaginarium is about creating the space, confidence and relationships for people to imagine and shape better futures together.

There is so much creativity, insight and energy across the Liverpool City Region, but too often people feel disconnected from the decisions that affect their lives or unsure whether their voices matter.

The Founding Circle is an opportunity for people from different backgrounds and experiences to help shape something exciting and important from the very beginning.”

Applications to join the Liverpool City Region Imaginarium Founding Circle are now open and will close at 5pm on Friday 19th June 2026.
