Halton Travel Well Nominated for the Best Physical Activity Social Prescribing Project

Wellbeing Enterprises, in partnership with Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospital and Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, are delighted to announce that they have been nominated for the award for the Best Physical Activity Prescribing Project in the prestigious Chamberlain Dunn Social Prescribing Network Awards 2024. 

The Social Prescribing Network Awards hosted by the Social Prescribing Network and the National Academy of Social Prescribing recognises and celebrates the wealth of innovation in social prescribing projects running throughout the UK and internationally.

The 'Halton Travel Well' project, based in the Halton Health Hub in Runcorn Shopping City, offers physical activity social prescriptions such as walking groups, yoga and cycling plus an holistic assessment of strengths and needs to improve the health and wellbeing of patients.

The winners of the 2024 Social Prescribing Network Awards will be announced at the 5th International Social Prescribing Conference on the 19th and 20th of June 2024.
