Get involved
As a volunteer, you’ll receive training and support so that you can get involved in community projects that you enjoy. You can become a Volunteer Wellbeing Officer working in health and/or social care; you can help to co-facilitate educational courses or you may prefer to take up an administrative or project support role. Whatever your skills and interests, there will be a role for you. It is also a great way to build up your CV and gain practical experience.
In addition to volunteering opportunities, every year, we distribute small grants and provide specialist support to local people who want to establish support groups or community businesses. We believe that local people have the skills and capabilities to make a lasting difference in their communities. We support these individuals to bring about the change they want to see in the world.
