A Dream for Chorlton: Community Manifesto from the Imaginarium

A new community manifesto shaped by the voices of local people in Chorlton.

As part of the GM Live Well Spring Festival, Wellbeing Enterprises CIC brought residents together through the Imaginarium - a creative community space designed to help people reflect, connect, and imagine a better future for their neighbourhood. Over 60 residents shared their experiences, hopes, and ideas for what helps communities thrive.

The report captures a powerful vision for a more connected, inclusive and supportive Chorlton, where people feel heard, valued, and able to shape the decisions that affect their lives. It highlights the importance of community spaces, strong relationships, wellbeing, and long-term investment in people and place.
